A decorative set of four early 19th century fox hunting and coaching prints, each presented in a long panoramic format and beautifully hand coloured.
The prints depict lively scenes of traditional English sporting life, including coaching journeys, hunting preparations and riders in full pursuit across the countryside.
Published in London by S. & J. Fuller of the Temple of Fancy, Rathbone Place, one of the best known publishers of sporting prints during the Georgian and early Victorian period.
Each print features multiple detailed vignettes with titled captions beneath the scenes, creating a wonderfully narrative sequence when displayed together.
These prints capture the energy and pageantry of early English hunting culture and make striking decorative wall pieces for country homes, pubs or equestrian interiors.
Size: 26.25" long x 17" high
Good antique condition with light age related toning and minor foxing consistent with prints of this age.
Later mounts and frames.
Ready to hang.
