A striking early oak refectory / farmhouse table featuring a wonderfully characterful plank top and beautifully carved legs.
The table is constructed from thick oak boards with a deep time-worn patina developed over centuries of use. The heavy top sits on bold carved legs decorated with a repeating geometric motif, giving the piece strong presence and a distinctive primitive character.
The honest wear, surface marks and natural ageing all contribute to the authenticity and charm of the table.
Tables of this type were traditionally used in farmhouses and refectories, designed for durability and everyday use. Today they are highly sought after for country homes and interior design projects where genuine character and age are desired.
This piece would make a superb dining table, kitchen table or statement console in a large hallway.
A wonderfully atmospheric antique table with real presence.
Size: 78" long x 31.5" wide x 29" high
