Antique Saddler’s Stitching Horse – Leatherworker’s Clamp Stand

A wonderful antique saddler’s stitching horse used historically by leatherworkers and saddlers to hold saddles securely while stitching.

The simple functional design, worn wood and iron chain details give the piece fantastic character and a strong rustic presence.

Originally a working tool of the saddler’s trade, today these make superb decorative objects for interiors and are increasingly sought after by interior designers and collectors of traditional craftsmanship.
